The Tower With a Hole in the Top
Completed in 2002 and designed by the team of Omar Al-Salam and Ellerbe Becket, the 302-meter Kingdom Centre is the tallest tower in Saudi Arabia. Its most recognizable feature is the inverted-arch opening at the crown, framing the sky between two pointed peaks.
A Mixed-Use City
The tower holds a Four Seasons hotel, offices, apartments, and a three-level luxury mall — a vertical downtown in the heart of Riyadh. The sky bridge at the top gives 360° views over the city and the desert beyond.
A Saudi Skyline Icon
Its silhouette is one of the most reproduced images of modern Riyadh, and it won the Emporis Skyscraper Award in 2002 for design and function.
